Congregations open up their buildings to serve children, the hungry, the homeless and others in need. Sacred places stabilize neighborhoods, strengthen commercial districts and significantly add to the economic health of our communities. All of this is endangered, however, when congregations can no longer afford to maintain these aging buildings. Partners has developed a family of highly-acclaimed resources to help congregations connect better to their communities, raise capital funds in new ways and preserve their historic building for future generations. We are the nation's only non-sectarian, nonprofit organization dedicated the sound stewardship and active community use of America's older religious properties.

Team work brings world class vision clinic to Fort Worth!

The Fort Worth Eye and Vision Clinic at First Christian Church has now been unveiled to the public. Partners for Sacred Places is proud of the key role we played to make the vision center a reality for Fort Worth! Mayor Betsy Price is raising this project up as a shining example of successful public-private partnerships that can provide valuable infrastructure and amenities to the citizens of Fort Worth. First Christian Church participated in our New Dollars, New Partners program and we will continue to provide technical assistance and resources to this congregation. Build out of the entire 2nd floor will begin immediately, supplies will be stocked in December and the clinic will begin seeing patients in January! A wonderful blessing indeed!
